Representatives of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation visiting the Darwin Museum

On August 17, a large delegation from the Chinese Embassy in Russia, led by the wife of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Mrs. Gao Yan, visited the Darwin Museum. The honorary guests also included Minister Plenipotentiary Chang Xiuhong, Envoy Counselor Liu Qinghua, Envoy Adviser Lu Xiaojun, Envoy Adviser Feng Litao, Adviser Liu Daosheng, Adviser Dai Xiukui, Second Secretary Mr. Li Yuzhi and Third Secretary Ms. Ye Ting.

Director of the State Darwin Museum Anna Iosifovna Klyukina greeted the distinguished guests and wished them a good mood and an interesting journey through the museum. The Ambassador's wife, Mrs. Gao Yan, thanked the museum for its contribution to the cultural exchange between Russia and China, active cooperation in preserving the cultural heritage of our countries and wished the success of the exhibition “Dinosaurs Walking in Zhejiang” with the Zhejiang Museum of Natural History, which will open at the Darwin Museum on 29 August.

Accompanied by guides, representatives of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China with their children toured the halls of the main exhibition and the exhibition complex, got acquainted with the history of the creation of the first museum of evolution in the world and its founders - the Kots spouses, saw legendary exhibits whose history is connected with the names of Yuri Gagarin , Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin, Nicholas II, Maxim Gorky and other famous historical figures of Russia. The youngest guests of the museum were delighted with the interactive complexes “Know yourself - know the world” and “Walk the path of evolution”, as well as the huge figure of the “Russian dinosaur” Amurosaurus, which was created by order of the museum in China in 2014 and became the very first exhibit open-air museum Paleopark.
